  I have attended a couple of basic Karate classes and a Kickboxing class and was pleased with the content and intensity of the class. The basic class was set up in such a fashion as to be match the level of the participant and the Kickboxing class was very concerned with the safety of those involved, which I was happy to see. Many classes I've attended would just throw people into hard sparring without any preparation or without proper gear. That was not the case here, as those without proper gear still received training, but catered to what they were able to do. For instance, I did not have headgear or shin guards with me, so I was limited to punching and only receiving hits to the body. The instructors I have had contact with seem to be well-trained and proficient at teaching and, in general, seem excited to be teaching and martial arts as a whole. I intend to train here a great deal more in the future. If you're in the area of Greenville or Spartanburg, SC, I'd recommend you give it a try!
